Faith, Emma, Abby and Rachel are all afraid to go into the woods because they have been scared before. But they need to go through the woods in order to be able to play with the animals there. They decide that maybe if they go together and face their fears with their friends by their side, the woods might not be such a scary place.
Will they be successful? Will they realize that the things they are so scared of are not even real and are nothing to be afraid of? Join the four Twids as they learn that it is much easier to face their fears when they face them together with friends.
EXCERPT -
Faith jumped out of bed, wide awake after her nightmare. "Floopies!" she said in disgust. "I hate Floopies! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" Then Faith sat back down on the bed and started to cry. She didn't really hate Floopies. But she sure was scared of them.
She had been scared of Floopies for a long time. Ever since that time she was walking in the woods near Alphabet Township and one fell on her. But Faith didn't want to be scared! She didn't want to be scared of Floopies!
Faith really wanted to go into the woods. She wanted to play with the animals. "Maybe if Emma goes with me, I won't be so scared," she said. So Faith went to find her friend Emma ...

About The Twids of Alphabet Township -
Alphabet Township is a wonderful place for kids to live! There are no grown-ups to tell them what to do … no older brothers or sisters to be mean to them … and no baby brothers or sisters to be jealous of!
All the kids are the same age. Nobody is older or younger than anyone else. In fact, it's almost like they were all born at the same time. But there are so many of them that they can't just be twins. So instead of being called Kids or Twins, they're called Twids!
And with so many children all the same age, there is no telling what they will experience or what adventures the Twids will have in the wonderful world of Alphabet Township!

I enjoyed this story aimed at teaching young girls how to face their fears. I didn't miss the hidden spelling -- that the names of the girls and the names of the things they were afraid of spelled out F-E-A-R. I'm guessing this is part of the Alphabet Township side of the story. I liked that the author didn't get heavy-handed in pointing out the spelling but left it to her readers to enjoy discovering it for themselves. I'm sure young girls will enjoy reading about the adventures of these four girls. I hope to see them in another book soon!Product details

No More FEAR The Twids of Alphabet Township Series edition by Jenna Brownley Children eBooks Reviews
With three grandchildren, I'm always looking out for new stories to keep them entertained. This is a charming story about the power of friendship to overcome fear. Young girls will be able to recognize themselves in the characters and relate to their experiences.
I can't wait to see a corresponding book for little boys. Looking forward to reading many more Twid adventures.
My daughter just loves this book, its her favorite bedtime story at the moment, fun to read to, as it doesn't take to long and it teaches some good values and lessons. Got both our imaginations going. I always wonder at how authors can think up great stories like this one.
Absolutely darling story about friends overcoming their fear. The characters are easy to relate to.The idea of having children all the same age living in Alphabet Township is unique approach and I look forward to purchasing more books from this series. Friends using their combined strengths to go to the woods will please any young reader.
Buy this book for your young people.
